Proudly presenting: the official NFF'25 pre-show! Screamo summer camp wouldn't be complete without a sweaty Thursday night to kick things off. Sadly, The Caution Children have had to drop out from the weekend's festivities, but we've found a more-than-suitable replacement.
Hot on the heels of a reunion appearance at Prepare the Ground after almost a decade off, Ottawa post-metal legends Alaskan are set to return one more time, capping off their long history with Toronto's DIY scene in style. Punishing riffs & hazy atmospherics abound, the band held firm command of the Canadian underground in the early '10s for a reason. Joining the fray are boxcutter, and always & Treehouse of Horror, a murderer's row of our city's best & brightest. All your friends will be there—where else could you possibly be?
